The #MeToo movement was a beautiful idea for a minute there before it morphed into a litigious trap for wealthy men. With the decimation of women's rights and protections, the left has shown me they don't care about women. #MeToo is now #F***You. This is just more political theatre, and part of their alarmist strategy. With their pro rape laws passed, they lost all credibility on the subject of women's safety. This poor woman is just a political pawn.

This is a prime example of the Left's abandonment of due process

What I remember most about those hearings was Kavanaugh raging and then crying like a baby, and then lashing out at those questioning him, and thinking if a woman ever lost her shit like, she’d never be confirmed. Evidence be damned. Judicial temperament. Hah.

Don't forget that our Vice President was at the center of that travesty. Those Democratic Senators brought (more) shame on that institution during those hearings.

How sad. To take advantage of a woman, to use her in an attempt to smear a would be Supreme Court Justice....they stop at nothing, never have. If they gave a hoot about this woman, rather than a makeover and a publisher, they should get her the help she needs.

How much did Ford receive and from who (probably a DNC contributor) to clam what she said about Kavanaugh?

The whole Kavanaugh hearing was a total national embarrassment, ford is an idiot and a disgrace to women everywhere. A total pawn, and so is the whole ideology of feminism. Good for sales and little else. . Long live the patrearchy.

Blasey-Ford was never used .She was a willing participant coached by a man-hating Demon of a lawyer. I am sure she had a few chuckles after her fake tears with the man hating cabal she most likely ate dinner with after her testimony. She was a grifter before her testimony and a mega grifter after it.

The woman made a lot of money with her ridiculous sob story . That was good for her because she stole from her ex boyfriend before that. Because Kavanagh is on the court he can't sue her in civil court but she most certainly deserves it. I am no fan of Kavanaugh but what was done to him by the Soulless Schumer and minions was disgusting.

The Democrat party has made a mockery of the Constitution, civility, propriety, biology and medicine ,gender, foreign policy and security. The Kavanaugh hearing was just another example of their lust for power that has fully corrupted everyone in it.

Everyone is aquatinted with at least one compulsive liar, women and men. Why people in this nation would elevate such people to national heroes is beyond my understanding. But then again, I don’t understand the St.George phenomenon either.

Let me help you here. Her testimony was never credible or serious unless you mean seriously embarrassing for everyone.

When will Tara Reide’s book be out? Exactly.

All I needed to know at the time was that she claimed to fear flying so as to delay her testimony for a week but flew around the world in her work.

Do we know really why Blasey Ford wrote this book?

Perhaps she’s finally spent all the money she originally made on this.

I think far too many of Ford’s detractors give too much credence to her mental health history and her faulty memory. For me, the most obvious explanation is that she was simply lying. The only statements she made that were verifiable were thoroughly refuted, starting with her fear of flying. Why is it so hard to believe a person is overtly lying? Lying, especially in a he-said, she-said situation, gives the liar power over the other person and control over the situation. To ask “What did she have to gain by coming forward if she were not telling the truth?” demonstrates precious little understanding of human nature. First and foremost is attention. Attention is power. Forget any negative press she might have incurred, she gained the attention and the approval of her peers – the people she identifies with. Given the fact that such peers were likely to be irrational themselves, Ms Ford, by lying was able to gain status among them. She was more willing than them to go the extra mile for what they believed in. That equates to prestige among such peers, and there is certainly no penalty for lying.

With so many people all around being being so irrational and seeking so desperately for attention, I don’t understand how the power of attention is so often overlooked as an overriding motive. And one can delight at the power a lie gives them. One only reads the good reviews. It’s even better than chocolate.
