Meaning they are glad to see the Guttman family leave?

Yup.

I wonder where they will go. I wish the girl good luck.

For $54,000/year, Mr. Guttman could hire private educational staff.

Of course he can; but I have a suspicion he's not into home schooling. I wonder will he send his child to public? I mean, all the privates, even in Brooklyn, are following the same path.

Also... that’s very sweet of you to think of the child. I’m told she’s a really nice girl.

Honest....

Are you in Brooklyn? ( you’ll understand why I ask). Funny, people assume that family paid a full tuition to Brearly. ( not you ). Families in NYC often get financial aid to attend these schools. The only other choice is the horrendous public schools here. The other Brearly parent who texted me, said , quote

“ This will follow them”.

Really sad.

It. Is. So.

Divisive!

It’s terrible.

The tutor/governess thing could catch on. It worked for the aristocracy in Jane Austen's day.

I'm kind of joshing. Mr. Guttman and others in his socio-economic cohort are at a decision point. They want a high-end, Enlightenment education for their children, but they are not going to get it at schools focused on CRT, no matter how much money they spend.
