I've never posted a comment on any podcast until now. I am an Independent and see TFP as a modern-day National Treasure.

Thanks for this episode. I have followed Victor Davis Hanson carefully because he seems like a decent sort. And, in this interview, he didn't disappoint.

To my ear, he:

1. deepened my understanding of Tucker Carlson & Darryl Cooper...and the danger of their influence

2. demonstrated how Trump apologists deflect concerns (like January 6th) that would (in a rational universe) lead us all to unite around making sure, as Bill Barr said, Trump shouldn’t be near the Oval Office.

My hope is that you, Michael Moynihan, will continue to ask the questions we all need answered. I particularly appreciated your referencing how similar the latest distortions of the past are to positions taken by Zinn, Chomsky, and Alperovitz.

Similar to how much of the American Left had, eventually, to accept its culpability for Joseph Stalin's crimes, elements of the American Right will, eventually, have to face their complicity in Trump's attack on so much of what we hold dear. So many of the excesses of the Woke Left are being stoked by the sad fact that it is Trump who is preventing the emergence of a Centrist consensus on key issues such as Immigration.

I pray that TFP holds fast to its principles and does everything it can to make sure we never have to deal with the fallout of Trump reassuming power.
