I am grateful for my wife, my family, especially after the special gift of grandchildren, nothing is sweeter than watching your daughters become sweet mothers, it has warmed my heart and strengthened my soul.
I am especially grateful for The Free Press it is our everlasting gift of free speech personified.
Seeing so many staff that provide us all with so many ways to be thankful is very insightful.
Many people tout diversity and while The Free Press staff is a kaleidoscope, what makes this enterprise enduring is the diversity of thought, of ideas and discussions. Thank you!

I tried to guess where that might be. Not the UK, or Canada, certainly. Not Russia, not China. Nowhere in Europe that I can think of. Dunno ... maybe somewhere in South America? Not the USA, that's for sure ... well ... not if you're anywhere that you're subject to cancellation anyway, and that's half the country at least. Mind, I suppose if you're independently wealthy and/or living in rural Idaho then maybe, yeah, you could actually still speak your mind. Of course that's presuming that Google doesn't overhear what you say. I gave up, and clicked on the link: the USA? OK, so the author is a hermit living in Idaho or something.
I’m grateful to the brief medical emergency that landed me in the stroke unit two years ago; to the nurse that saw my fear and asked if I’d like the chaplain to stop by; to myself for uncharacteristically saying ‘Yes, please!’; to the chaplain and her trainee who held my hands and prayed for me, setting in motion something beautiful; to C.S. Lewis, whose words reached me across the decades as my stubborn intellect tried to understand what my soul was longing for; and to God for being there when I finally opened my heart.
And grateful to for a place to share this. Thanks, Free Press and all commenters. ❤️
I'm thankful for a beautiful life with my family and multitude of animals. I have gratitude for this wonderful country. Thanks to TFP for a great year of journalism.
I’m grateful that this year is coming to an end. Out with the silly and in with normal, make sense behavior. I have a feeling that most of us will come together.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Love those around you, it’s OK if you don’t agree. V.
I am thankful for TFP and showing how journalism can still happen, and for intellectually-honest liberals. For a home and for this beautiful rag-tag region (NY's North Country) where I live. And for America.
I’m grateful that I live in a country and at a time when we have so much that most people can be grateful for things other than food and shelter and freedom.
I’m grateful for the great team at the Free Press and the people that read it. Thank you Bari, for having the courage and strength to start this new enterprise, which harkens back to what journalism used to be….objective and interesting. Reading the
Front Page and other articles everyday and also reading the diversity of comments from subscribers, keeps me sane and enriches my life. A special shout out to Douglas Murray for his books and articles that explain so much about what is happening in the west and also for the wisdom and hope he offers us with his Sunday column. Also, thank you to Nellie Bowles for TGIF which is the one and only column I can share with my husband every week. We don’t have the same political views and moments of agreement are rare, but Nellie makes us both laugh.
I am thankful for much, humbled by God’s many blessings. I’m thankful for TFP and the many faceted tribe that y’all are. In my life, TFP has been a surprising answer to prayer, reinforcing core beliefs. Humanity, as introduced in the Hebrew and Christian bible, are a myriad of image bearing creatures, reflecting a multitude of facets, of an eternal, loving Creator.
In recent years, the almost static cynicism and negativity presented through most sources of media, have become literally soul draining. In my conversations with God, I’ve sought for balance and hope.
TFP has been a bright spot of both, and I’m thankful. And, even more than the exquisite storytelling, y’all have been quite vulnerable, as the storytellers. That’s the magic that transcends the everyday, and gives glimpses of an infinitely beautiful God, reflected by this merry band of TFP misfits.
I'm grateful for our country, for the courage of the men and women who put their faith first and sought a place to worship God as they wanted to worship Him. I'm grateful they persevered in the midst of death and disease to build a home here and to lay foundations for our government. I'm grateful for the United States of America. I'm grateful my grandparents left Wales in the early 1900's and came here as young people alone and found each other. I'm grateful for other great great grandparents who came here in the 1800's for a better life. And for others who came in the 1700's again in search of a better life. I'm grateful for my husband, children, and grandchildren who all bring me great joy. Most of all I'm grateful for God who loves us and sent His Son to be our Savior.
I was blessed to be raised by parents who inculcated the right values in my sisters and me and motivated me to pursue my interests with passion. I have the good fortune of having married my childhood sweetheart, with whom I had virtually no contact for 17 years after high school. She has blessed us with a good son as we are now in our 42nd year together and both in reasonably good health in our late 70's. I am grateful that we live in a country that allows us to develop whatever talents we possess and to reap the rewards that may follow. I am thankful for the great beauty and variety that our country offers and the ability to appreciate what is most important in life. Notwithstanding the naysayers, as a son of the South I am grateful for the progress we have made toward a truly integrated society.

How blessed we are!

I'm thankful that I don't have work at such an insufferable place.

Yes, River!! 100% what you said, double ditto.

Thank you, from Indiana.

I'm grateful for the noble losers, without whom there wouldn't be winners.
I'm grateful to live in a country that proves every day the maxim: "life is what you make it."
I wish Margi Conklin, her husband, and her dog Mabel well. I know what it is to bond like that with a dog and what it is to watch it slip away

I forget to mention my two pups, Louie who we were fortunate to have for 17 years and our Covid year acquired Ziggy who amuses us these days.
