Can I say how wonderful it is that there is a diversity of respectful opinions on religious themes expressed here at The FP that I find in few other places? I read things from devout/less-devout/secular Jews, secular ex-faithful, atheists, Buddhists, Christians of many stripes, and people who don't identify themselves religiously at all. Always respectful. I don't come here expecting to read things that are intended to convert, or change minds. But for writers to be able to state the irrational beliefs that form the basis for most faiths is refreshing.
