Apparently people have a hard time with the fact the Israel is a sovereign state and not part of the US. This is a conflict between bad and worse. Israel has a shitty government at this moment. This is why you separate church and state. The bottom line is that without US weapons Israel will not survive. Hamas is using civilian deaths to cut off foreign support. This will continue if we bow to the strategy. Arabs in the US don’t like Israel. That’s not a surprise. It sucks, but it’s in our strategic interest to back Israel. Once this conflict is over, then cut back the arms or make more arms contingent on better behavior. Do not side with people who murder and steal from their own people.
