Please subscribe to and read C. Bradley Thompson's Substack: The Redneck Intellectual. Also, please consider inviting him to become a columnist at @TheFP.

Why? Understanding the moral foundations of America is paramount to being an informed American citizen. This understanding is essential to reviving and conserving the values, virtues, ideals, and principles of the American Founding. Liberty.

Yes, because TFP is a startup, it can fail. Better to risk failure than to charge over the cliff to certain death with the MSM lemmings.

Congratulations! I’m looking forward to reading what these writers have to say. In your next round of hiring, can you please give some consideration to bringing on someone who can write about what’s going on in the arts? Critical Social Justice activism is alive and well here but gets little coverage. Think of all the art you don’t get to see because the CSJ acolytes on grant panels reject the applications, all the plays that aren’t produced because artistic directors shut the doors over identity concerns, not to mention the “training” artists receive that is focused less on mastery of skills and more on activism. It would be nice to see an alternative to arts coverage outside of NYTimes.

Welcome all! Make me happy. Make me sad, even angry. Just please keep it real, and force me to think for myself.

I’m hoping that this is why the FP leadership must have been distracted lately and as a result just didn’t pay close attention to some of the awful ‘point of view’ stuff recently published . Seemed to me and many readers that they missed important background and sanity checks.

They all sound like excellent additions to your cadre of writers, and they represent a spectrum of backgrounds/perspectives. (I hope I read the articles by the writers who I’m likely to disagree with…maybe I will…maybe.)

There's not enough hours in the day to read all the great content here, and now there's more! Congratulations!

I like the additions--but Suzy Weiss not so much. She reminds me a lot of Peter Doocy at Fox News, who got the job too young and inexperienced based on family connections. She certainly has talent, but another 10 years working at journalism somewhere else would do her good.
