Or, if you want to support the military but are non-deployable, take a civilian job at a logistics base, intel center, or personnel center. That fact does not cancel them or ignore their personhood.
And does that mean that women are non-deployable because they could get pregnant? Maybe we should look at that. In 1991 I volunteered for Desert Storm and fought with a Tank unit. After the fighting, I went to the log base and was astounded to see the lineup of women each morning at sick call to get their pregnancy tests. They knew that a positive test was a ticket out of the war zone. Who cared if it left the men in the unit, who obtw had fathered that child, to pick up the slack?
