It boils down to the famous question Ronald Reagan asked American voters 44 years ago, "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?"

Impossible to exagerrate the contempt of our country for the DC control group the NYC /LA media . Think Le Mes slaves song.

Amazing the effort to present this loss as bad messaging given control of the media/roves etc and intense hatred of most D policies. Can’t imagine why folks won’t calmly stand being murdered /robbed —desexed—honor/heritage defiled—intelligence insulted. Don’t these Bozos understand it is necessary for one World/one Class/one identity and the purging of unhealthy thought.

You lost me on “convict”. Whatever happened to a persons right to appeal an unjust conviction before smearing their name by labeling them “convict”. Bari, you were a victim of unjust labeling and fought back! Shame on you for not giving Trump the same opportunity.

OK. I read all the thoughtful commentary, and much of it was excellent. As a 68 year old grandpa times 6, here is my take. Forget all the ridiculous stuff that was said and done in the last 2 months by both of these folks and consider: Which of these people will more likely make our country and our world a safer and better place for my grandkids to grow up in and live in? Weakness, vacillation, and appeasement encourage conflict. Strength, resolve and dedication to freedom dissuade our enemies.

Who is this Batya person on the podcast? How incredibly delusional do you have to be to believe that Trump cares about the working class or even about “policies”?

Upon hearing Joy Reid refer to Harris's "flawless campaign," I realized that the Democratic party lacks the gift of introspection. Honestly, the woman should not be allowed to make decisions for herself, let alone try to influence others' decisions

I love the left's response. It's basically "We will see what he does. We very dearly hope he doesn't do anything fascist, and if he does, we reserve the right to revolt. Oh, and by the way, the way he walks and breathes is inherently fascist."

TDS alive and well.

I would love to see the vote demographic in numbers, not just percentages. Trump did not attract many more votes than in 2020, but Harris attracted about 15 million(!!!) fewer votes than Sleepy Joe.

Did Trump really pull black/asian/hispanic (pick your demographic) voters to his side, or did they just not show up for Harris? Who didn’t show up for the blue team?

"This race was the Democrats' to lose." Where in a sane world does that notion come from? Everything they have touched has been (deliberately?) f*ed up. You must consider yourself the natural ruling aristocracy. In my experience Democrats suffer from overwheening moral hubris. Give a little humility a go.

Love Catherine Herridge. “JD only person worth knowing at Yale”; “Kamala hidden in basement”. Glad you are on your own and unshackled to legacy and cable news!

Indeed! Catherine Herridge is one of the few people worth knowing at Harvard. Best wishes to her and her family.

Harris was an invention. She couldn’t speak in public. She giggled like she was on pot.

There was nothing there. The msm pretended she was outstanding. There was never an honest answer. She was empty.

...."but Bidenism has been interesting economically.” —Sohrab Ahmari

Really? "interesting economically"?

How about "devastating economically."

I'm sure that's what you meant 🙄.
