I am a bit sad that the Democratic Party and our partisan press are so blatantly contemptuous of the working and middle class. There is an unmistakable arrogance and lack of compassion that I did not see before. Whatever they may claim, little to nothing has been reported about the thousands of small businesses that were tanked by government edict during Covid, while more billionaires were created. I saw a woman the other day chattily posting on Facebook, regarding the Trump assassination attempts, that “maybe the third time’s a charm!” The fact that lefties who once championed the so-called common man feel permitted to be this openly nasty says quite a lot about this time period and about them.
