I respect you profoundly for being able to have a generous and intelligent conversation about a topic that many other journalists would find difficult to treat in such a way. But I'm particularly touched that you as a Jew could have this conversation, because there has been so much unnecessary bad blood between Jews and Christians for far too long, and I regret this as a Catholic Christian for the contribution that the Church has made to this animosity.
