We had a daughter ROGD in high school - with no prior history (oh, the kids convince themselves that if they picked up a "wrong" toy once it is meaningful) - and we parents were the "ONLY People" who "had a problem with it". Everyone else thought it was just great and celebrated, with teachers going behind our backs and treating us like dinosaurs. People are extra smug when they are virtue signaling their "kindness and understanding", IMO. One of the better teachers told me that 'even if it doesn't turn out to be "true" (???)' it will make my kid so understanding of people who "are really trans" (What is that and what is the test for it ???).
It has been a haul but she is ok, by the way - and not "medicalized". No one should take advantage with anyone in a bad place or mentally ill, (or young and naive) which is anyone who is led down the path of removing healthy body parts by the schools pretending "gender" is "settled science" or doctors happily chopping for $$$$
