White ex-Democrat chick here who voted for neither. Totalitarianism sucks in all flavors.

White woman here. Consider myself post-partisan since changing my registration to Independent about 20 years ago after being a lifelong Democrat. I reluctantly voted for Trump in 2020 and will do so again this election cycle. Still really dislike Trump but dislike Harris and Democratic policies more. So I will vote for policies not for president.

Another white (formerly democrat) woman here, voting for Trump. No question about it.

"Meanwhile, Stephania Messina, 39, from Michigan, made a confession to Rupa: 'I am part of the reason we’re in this divisive mess today, because I voted for him,' she said. 'My vote caused harm and I really believe I need to make amends.' "

"My vote caused harm and I really believe I need to make amends." Whoa Nelly! Is she f***ing serious? Talk about melodramatic and self-important, delusional horseshit. I'm not Trump fan (voted 3rd party once and reluctantly for Trump once), but Stephania is lucky folks don't need to pass an IQ test to register to vote. In fact, Stephania is a walking, talking reason to implement such a measure.

I must comment that your boilerplate drives me right off the page. “{My} window into the world of the Free Press.”? Skews a bit pompous. Give one of the interns a crack at an edit.

Politicians treat voters as if they were stupid and the latter never fail to take the bait. The politicians offer ‘hope’, ‘change’ and ‘new’. They promise to ‘reform’ and ‘fight’. And the voters continually buy it.

This cycle the national elections have democrats campaigning, including the presidential contest, on abortion. In the preceding story we see ignorant women use that issue to guide their vote. Duh? Abortion is a State issue. No one running for the House, Senate or the Presidency is about to do anything about it, nor have they done anything about it.

Yes, you can say Trump appointed, with Congressional approval, justices who decision made it a state issue. But the members of the Court Trump appointed are not political hacks in the image of Merrick Garland (thank God he never made it) or Sotomayor. They are respected jurists, of high intellect. Nor were the leaders of the abortion decision, Alito and Thomas,Trump appointees.

The ‘New Way Forward’ (Harris repudiating the Biden Harris way) and ‘Make America Great Again’ are just slogans that distract. I say that an intelligent voter not listen to one candidate negatively criticize the other, but to look for ‘The Beef’ in the candidate’s proposals.

“Nobody Wants This” is absolutely hysterical! I know writers want to politicize everything before an election, but leave this one alone, watch it, relax and laugh like hell!!!

" In 2020, they helped him (Trump) beat Joe Biden by seven points. " I assume this is a copy editor's error, or do you need reminding that Joe Biden beat Trump in 2020? The Free Press pretends to be non-partisan, but every now and then it slips, either by mistake or in this gratuitous statement, for example. "...Harris opted for the carrot rather than the stick, with an “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men” that would surely have been criticized as patronizing were it a Trump initiative."

White women are still included in the DEI scale of entitlement that men have been purged from.

Given, however, that progressive Critical Race Theorists posit that all of the white race is genetically predisposed to racism, this status could well be revoked and white women could well find themselves excluded from opportunity along with their white husbands, white daughters and white sons.

They are already a rung or two below their Black counterparts and it wouldn’t take much of a nudge to see them displaced from the que.

Absolutely. Nice the DEI Gestopo finish pushing white men out of American society they will start on white women. I saw this act thing happen at my old company which has been about a decade ahead of the rest of America on DEI fascism.

I saw this information on another site (sorry Bari and TFP!!)...

"... The US says Israel interrupted close to 90% of humanitarian aid movements last month between northern and southern Gaza as part of its campaign to isolate Hamas militants in the north. Israel has also issued evacuation orders to much of northern Gaza, where about 400,000 Palestinians are based. The US is calling for Israel to ensure passage of at least 350 humanitarian aid trucks per day into the territory. ..."

Ok if you let traffic operate 24/7, that is 14 and a half trucks every hour. A truck EVERY FOUR MINUTES. Now, I am going to assume (ugh, because yes, I know and you do too) that there is going to be several places where trucks can enter.

Questions:

Where are they entering from?

What is in them?

Is the US going to *ensure* that it is 100% humanitarian aid - food, water, medications?

What happens if there turns out to be weapons in one of the trucks, does it not count in the 350?

What happens if Hamas blows up one of the trucks, or comes in and grabs a dozen - or two??

Who is going to *ensure* that the 400,000 'palestinians' are going to get the aid? What about the other 'palestinians'?

Is the US going to *ensure* that Hamas and the other terrorist groups leave the trucks alone?

Is the US going to make any other stupid and arbitrary rules to support terrorism in Israel?

We'll buy your vote for 20k and let you smoke week in the open. Not only that, it's undoubtedly an unconstitutional gift that a president has no power to make. . . . Dems are effing desperate. It's pathetic, really.

Expand full comment

All candidates are desperate. Making proposals to appeal to various voting blocs is what they do. Trump does exactly the same thing.

The Dems internal polls must say she is behind Put stuff out like this and maybe you can turn the herd I read she is thinking of doing Rogan ,why ? That wouldn't happen if her internal polls said she had comfortable lead .

Oh my gosh. I can’t even imagine how that would go down. Rogan would further expose her idiocy, and she wouldn’t even have a teleprompter! Please, oh please, won’t she go on Rogan!?
