There was apparently a lot fear among the Authorities of inflaming racial tensions and also that community was a voting block that was important to certain officials. There was a huge investigative report done by The Times of London in 2011. And they made no secret of the fact that it was largely Pakistani men. This has been well covered by the press, and it’s absurd to claim that British authorities did nothing about this issue.
Most absurd of all is to claim that Elon Musk did anything to help fix the problem. He is spreading lies and misinformation, and the right is applauding him for it. It’s absolutely amazing.
They didn't do nothing but what they did was far from enough. And many Britishers disagree with you, as you will see from comments on articles in many newspapers.
People believe what they want to believe. Peace
