This is a very annoying discussion. Ayaan talks of fact and substance. Bindel continues to talk like an upper class British aristocrat, that is mildly perturbed that the plebs are suffering. Not just from this one debacle but from so many other policies championed, pursued and protected by the upper social classes in the UK. How can you be more angry at the likes of Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk, because of speech. Rather than the systemic assault of your fellow citizens that has been happening for decades.

Ayaan left for the US. I can see why. At least in the US the working class voter has a chance to voice their disgust at the ruling class and hope for some change. Even if that change agent is not ideal. I would posit had Trump/Elon been in the UK they would be sitting next to Tommy Robinson in a jail cell.

Julie Bindel grew up in a working class family on a council estate ( low income housing). She does not have an upper class accent.

She has been reporting on this story since 2007 and trying to get the word out. She has never given up trying to give a voice to those poor girls.

She also lost her job at a university for going against the trans orthodoxy. She was very publicly cancelled. She hates woke orthodoxy.

You don't have to like her, but you couldn't have her more wrong.

Fair enough, but how about this working class British person pulling a "no true Scotsman" argument?

Those other feminists with their intersectionality and their trans-inclusiveness, those aren't real feminists like me, she keeps saying. Sure they aren't.

It was evident the Julie is completely committed and has sacrificed much. In my opinion she does come across as someone who hates men though.
