It's sickening that Karen Bass, supposed Mayor of LA, is presiding over a city of hate. Goes hand in hand with her luxury living for the homeless, ignoring rampant shoplifting and handing out needles to facilitate drug habits. One of the most worrisome things about this story is that it is not at all surprising. It is what one would have expected. The savages are feeling they can get away with almost anything, and progressive governments seem to be proving them right. The first and obvious suggestion is for people to arm themselves, train with the weapons they buy, and be prepared to act in self defense. The problem is that in places run by leftists, authorities tend to side with the leftist hoodlums, and people who defend themselves run the risk of serious trouble with the law. An action that would be treated as reasonable self defense in Texas (Austin perhaps aside) might land a person from an unprotected group in the slammer in New York, Los Angeles, or other places run by leftists. This is a particular difficulty for Jews because a high percentage of American Jews live in cities and states run by leftists. Jews (and for that matter whoever the next targets are) living in those places have my sympathy and best wishes. People could relocate to places where people are free to defend themselves, but not everyone can or would want to do that. It is tough.
Noah makes a very good and obvious point; if the protesters all wore MAGA hats, hell if ONE protester wore a MAGA hat, all the major networks would cover this event as an anti-semetic boiling point.
Can some sensible LA Jews do some research to find out the names the politicians are who told the police to stand down so that the community can respond to them appropriately?
