Agree but please recognize that women in Biblical times didn’t have to cover head to toe. That is a 20th C “made-up” rule by the religious rulers who want to control women….and men!
The incessant harpie chorus on the left and the intense opposition and contempt for all of the Trump team's plans gives you a clue. Someone is feeling threatened. The truth will always, always come out.
Looking on from Australia - we are in awe and in envy at the "Get it done" and "NFA" attitude of your President. We could only dream of that here. We are drowning in a woke swamp.
Would you believe that Australia has the largest uranium deposit in the world, and, you guessed it........we are not even allowed to mine it, let alone sell it, or harness the magnificent dense power of the U308. There is not one nuclear reactor in Australia, nor plans to have one.
Woke is dying, but not fast enough for Australia. We are turning into a hybrid of South Africa and Germany.
I have been praying for your country since COVID. I feel heartbroken that your once-proud country of tough cookies has allowed itself to be beaten down by the lunatics that run it. Sending a BIG HUG your way. XOXO
Megyn Kelly is joined by Kmele Foster, Michael Moynihan, and Matt Welch, co-hosts of The Fifth Column podcast to discuss Trump’s shocking announcement saying America might “take over” Gaza, whether he’s serious about it or just using a negotiating tactic, how the rest of the world is reacting, whether the policy announcement is truly "America First," and more.

President Trump, Gaza, and the need for journalists and analysts to demonstrate a little humility about Trump, about Gaza and certainly about the development of large areas reduced to rubble. Hugh explains.
Does anyone bother to read the Constitution? We have the federal government stealing prerogatives from the states almost from the beginning.
The original plan was that the states would govern themselves. The federal government would handle diplomacy with foreign countries, national defence and interstate matters. This huge bureaucracy was never intended.
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got.
In our case, war, death, and destruction.
Let's try something new.
It could work and I am all for relocating these bloodthirsty barbarians, (which includes the women and children) to Arab countries. They are ALL Hamas and I don't care where they go. Let their Arab brethren take care of them.
Why do writers in THP shoot themselves in the foot? You were doing so well, and suddenly a reference to “Emperor Elon” derailed the objectivity of your article.
"When are Democrats going to learn that sterilizing teenagers is not a political winner!"
Based on the logical gymnastics on display at the DNC Chair Election conference, concerning balancing the vote based on gender (M, F, ???), the answer to that question would appear to be never.
You are missing the point. The decision shouldn't be about political winning. It should be about protecting children who are too young to make a truly informed decision!
I see the rubble of Gaza being used to construct a breakwater harbor.
It can become a temporary US Port for our Navy. And after, a cruise ship destination.
I see the rubble of Gaza being used to construct a 15 thousand foot runway that our Air Force can use to support the Navy. And after, a vibrant aviation hub for the region.
In other words a US base that can project power in the region as well as protect the interests of those who sign on to a regional peace agreement.
It’s time for the players in the ME to put up or shut up. Funding can be procured from the wealthy regional states.
Once the Riviera is completed they can share in the profits.
As for the residents of Gaza? After witnessing the body cam footage and seeing the mistreatment of the hostages, sympathies for their plight is gone. Their enthusiasm for death has no limits.
Jordan and Egypt are still adjacent to Israel. You don’t put fighting dogs next to each other. They can be relocated to a state (Yemen or Somalia) that has been supportive of their cause. Iran can be made to fund the move.
Time to get real and bring the hammer down.
Peace and prosperity with recognition that the state of Israel is not going away.
Or -you get what you profess to love - the glorious death of a martyr.
Either way we’re Gona bring it to you.
To those who say we can’t afford this I ask what is it costing to maintain a permanent military presence on land, sea , and air right now?
Time to prove to the residents of Gaza they lost the war.
“ Attention ladies and gentlemen we have a cleanup on isle G”.
They lost.
I truly hope this is the beginning of the end of the terror state of Gaza.
He says outrageous things and behaves erratically enough that the counterparts have no choice but to come to the table and negotiate. And he gets something - probably what he wanted in the first place. Our alarmist media coverage is helping because they believe he’s crazy too. It’s hilarious to watch play out.
My comment is regarding Trumps idea we take over Gaza, especially the way he described it. His description was the message. Beautiful houses in a safe city, where people would not worry about being killed, living a good life. Maybe in Egypt, Jordan, maybe Gaza after we get it cleaned up.
His unspoken, but ringing message that has to come to everybody's mind, as he kept repeating, "Beautiful city, safe, no killing," is "No Palestinian I've ever seen, for the past 76 years ever, ever, ever expressed a desire for that." Trump knows how to get a message across. It's on them, Palestinians, they can get everything good that everybody else has, but they have to want that, and there's no evidence they do, or they ever did, or they might in the future. No, Trump doesn't want US "taking" Gaza, he wants us to get the message. Then ?
One possible answer to your sensible query of "Then ?"
While Trump is talking about bulldozing and rebuilding Gaza's environment, someone needs to bring up a parallel message about how to rebuild Palestinian souls.
They desperately need a detox from the spiritual poison fed to them for the last 100 years, aka Islam. As long as they still believe that their highest calling in life is to die while killing infidels (Jews first), rebuilding Gaza -- or even relocating Gazans to other Arab nations -- will not bring peace. Not to Israel, not to the West, not to the Arab world.
A totally doable option for Trump's administration is to take some of the money recovered by DOGE, and hire Arabic-speaking Christian missionaries (preferably ex-Muslims) to staff the schools, run the clinics, and administer the aid efforts in rebuilt Gaza.
It may take another generation for Islam to lose its spiritual grip on the people, but hey, if a Christian revival can happen in Iran (despite active opposition from the mullahs) it can happen in Gaza. And it's no coincidence that so many Iranians are also bravely cheering for Israel.
Hannah -- I don't see how any Muslim can ever be taught by a people practicing a different religion, especially one created by 13 Jews, one of which is a son of their G-d, not Allah. You might read up on religions, all of them.
Well, in religious matters there's theory, and then there's real life.
You might try watching some of the interviews with Muslims who became Christians, and hear straight from them how it happens. Their real-life experiences don't seem to follow the assumptions you hint at here. They tend not to "be taught by people" to change their beliefs.

The final line, in the news item, of El Savador taking our prisoners, and ending with being misty eyed worth the price of the subscription alone.
Hyperventilating through the next four years won't do you, or me, any good. What should you do instead? Read books by dead authors.
I've been hyping this of late because it's brought me so much solace in the last couple years.
If you don't know where to start, some suggestions:
East of Eden, by John Steinbeck
The Unbearable Lightness of Being, by Milan Kundera
Gravity and Grace, by Simone Weil
The Odyssey, by Homer, especially Claire Danes' narration
The Immense Journey, by Loren Eisley
The Lessons of History, by Will and Ariel Durant
Beloved, by Toni Morrison
The Brothers Karamazov, by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Trump's philosophy for the Middle East:
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got.
In our case, war, death, and destruction.

I'm not missing anything... simply quoting the article and relating it to scenes from the recent DNC meeting.
I'm sorry. I misspoke. I should have said the Democrats are missing the point.
All good, Jill. FWIW, I agree completely with you. The abuse of children under the guise of providing gender affirming care is abhorrent.

"It's not just 'mass headcount reductions' that Emperor Elon---excuse me---government efficiency czar Elon Musk has promised." ---Madeleine Kearns
If Elon is "Emperor", what does that make FDR or Abe Lincoln?
The United States is $36 trillion in debt, Sweetie. Do you think reducing government bloat might just help the cause?
I believe Musk's next great invention should be a restroom for human beings to go to privately relieve themselves of SNARK!
