Can anyone explain or point me toward the "prompt" and explanation of how to do a subscriber video? At the end of every TGIF it explains and tells where to send pics but I don't see a prompt for this. I'd love to do one!

You make many excellent points. My objection to the coverage at TFP is the lack of balance and in many instances outright bias. I am not looking for unfettered praise for Trump but please provide some counter examples. We read Trump lies all the time yet never a mention of far more consequential lies from Biden. Inflation was 9.2 percent when I took over, no service members died under my watch ch, continues to spread the Charlottesville lie now disproven with no pushback from the media.

As I said I do not need any article praising Trump , just fairly and accurately present both sides and if their coverage continues to present bias, so be it but at least I’ll be aware.

Great Job Julia the Intern!

Forgive me if I missed it, but I haven't noticed that any of my commenting colleagues remarked at how much Barack's speech sounded like Trump talking about how we need to get back to true American values. Yes, Kamala, we do want to go backwards, at least re the things that count in life!

I am flummoxed by Eli Lake's piece---if the Hamas protestors have a point how is this in anyway different from the accusations laid against Trump when he made the comments about Charlottesville "there are good people on both sides".I may not be Chomsky but but I certainly have some language ability

Someone, anyone? Sounds like Bueller but someone Needs to write a piece titled “Trump is an asshole but you should vote for him anyway”. Takers?

You-Go for it!

I should. We need to be honest. Not lemmings. He’s not a good person. But Kamala is worse. And that says something

Give us the facts. Why Trump is a bad person. And we will decide how weighty these facts are. I think you have simply been trained against Trump. Like many others.

Your statement, “But Kamala is worse” speaks volumes.

Can we please stop referring to lawless freaks that vandalize, set fires, damage, defile, use bolt cutters and hammers to tear down security fencing, and hurl rocks and ice-filled bottles at police as "protesters"? Eli, you acknowledge that these "mobs" profess themselves to be largely "communists" and "anarchists" committed to seeing Jews (and anyone who supports them) terrorized, tortured, and killed. Given their criminal conduct and admitted aims, wouldn't "rioters" be more apt? After all, we're not talking Selma here.

I rolled my eyes watching the video of white women poseurs in keffiyehs. Their hair was showing. Women in Muslim majority countries have been murdered over their hair. Even moderate Muslims are pretty conservative and should they ever rule this country, all of these terrorists loving fools will soon learn there is no room for LGBT+, lawlessness, atheism, female sexuality and freedom of speech under Sharia. How quickly the enablers and apologists forgot that Muslims have and will demand schools ban the sexually deviant books the progressives feel compelled to make children read.

How amusing and ironic that multi multi millionaire Michelle Obama has a dark vision of America. I suppose "democracy is at stake," because of Trump's big unscripted mouth. But democracy was apparently never at stake when Biden mandated covid vaccines including for pregnant women, or censored scientists who dissented about lockdowns, school closures and vaccine mandates. So Michelle from one of her mansions feels the pain and darkness of the ordinary hoi-polloi, and is here to tell us that unless we vote dem we are returning to some sort of racist fascist dystopian past/present/future. Thanks Michelle.

I stopped listening to the pampered, privileged, and preferenced Michelle the night her husband won his first presidential nomination, when she announced that "For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country." That told me all I needed to know.

Yuval Levin’s article about the reputation of universities did not mention tuition costs. Nor did it compare the earning power of a college graduate vs a non-graduate after paying student loans. I have a feeling that many prospective students are balking at student loans and comparing the earning power of the degree relative to that industry and location. You may well earn a million dollars or more over your lifetime compared to a nongraduate but if you’re losing half of that to repaying student loans AND you’re stuck in an area with a high cost of living AND that job market is saturated with applicants, then the degree looks less appealing.

Well, I think one thing we can all agree on - both Republican and Democrat conventions are a huge cringefest and a massive waste of money (no matter who gave it to them or how they got it). Maybe it''s because I didn't grow up here, but even my American husband was rolling his eyes. Isn't there a more toned down way they can do this without turning it into some sort of awards ceremony rolled into several State of the Union addresses?

At one time there was actually suspense because the candidates got their position as a result of voting. The primary system which looked good on paper has given voters less choice than before.

Jonah Goldberg at The Dispatch has written extensively about the failures of the primary system and the relative superiority of the “smoke-filled rooms” of the old two-party system.

No. I can see the attraction for Venezuelans; but when I weighed up all the disadvantages, including this cringe aspect, of the USA; I decided it was better the devil I knew. YMMV.
