I find it interesting that the Biden administration is pivoting toward Trump's immigration position as just one area where Trump was getting it right. For all the reasons Janet states. I am far more fearful of a Biden/hard left administration going forward. National Pride, putting the interests of our country and our citizens first, used to have positive connotations. And I think most people are very sick of cancel culture so hopefully the pendulum can swing a little toward sanity soon!
Where in this interview did Trump get called a fascist. Pinker explicitly said we have no way of predicting what Trump will actually do. What we do have, which he didn’t mention, is a history. We can all take from that history that we’ve watched with our own eyes and ears, what we decide to take from it.
