I had the pleasure of seeing David Sedaris recently on tour in Morristown, NJ. He mentioned he was going to read this essay for the Free Press. After the show, he generously sat for over an hour to sign books and make small talk. I told him I was a Free Press subscriber, and I *think* I convinced him to subscribe as well? Nellie had better keep up her skills on the TGIF newsletter: I sold it to him as the funniest thing I read all week.

RE: "........—America’s favorite humorist, or at the very least, our favorite humorist."

This statement indicates my largest concern about continuing as a TFP subscriber. Her statement in an interview with a humorist seems like a trivial example. Yet, it indicates a (possibly unrealized) arrogance on Bari's part that her views align with a large part of America. That is the type of belief that has lead too many news outlets to think they know best and start pushing narratives, rather than just reporting facts.

David Sedaris always makes me smile. As a fellow duolingo dabbler, this was wonderfully funny. Thank you!

This isn't any fun... C'mon Bari... how about getting someone on your staff to give Biden or Harris a tongue bath like Howard Stern or that execrable Barrymore cow...?

Only a few months to go! Time to get your Democratic Party Rehabilitation Project into high gear!
