Why are we so ready to embrace a guy who identifies as a gal and consequently use their “preferred pronouns,” but we recoil and shout “racism” is, for example, a white person identifies as “black.” Would it be more socially acceptable if they darkened their skinned and permed their hair? At what point does society accept people who change their race (socially constructed) or ethnicity? Accepting men as women only further diminishes women’s rights and access. Interesting how rare these individuals are in faith-based communities…
