No serious observer should have had doubts about Iran's intentions, which should now be crystal clear to even the most obtuse members of the US administration. The remaining question is, what on Earth are Joe Biden's intentions? Does he even know? Beyond dithering and risk aversion, has he any philosophy?

For any American at this point to espouse anything but unequivocal and unqualified support for Israel is obscene, immoral. Equally important, if Biden actually believes that by waiving sanctions on Iran and repeatedly paying off the Mullahs he will avoid "wider conflict in the region," he is as foolish, and doomed to as painful a disappointment, as Neville Chamberlain was in 1938. Peace in our time! Yeah, right!

Of course, there is another possibility, one which is much worse. And that is that Biden, or at least whoever is actually in charge, (Obama? Rice? Jarratt?) shares Iran's hatred of Jews, of America, of Western civilization, and is aiding and abetting the effort to establish an Islamist caliphate across not just the Middle East but the entire world.
