Vice President Vance had a characteristically successful appearance jousting with the Sunday news show propagandists, memorably telling Margaret Brennan about terrorists the Biden-Harris regime let in “I don’t really care, Margaret, I don’t want those people in my country.”

Heck of a change having a president with all his faculties and a vice president with the ability to speak extemporaneously.

I just watched this “interview” ie “gotcha!” She failed. Miserably. When you have former democrats saying they can’t believe how much they are appreciating Trump (and Vance, I must say) —in all of five days—something is working correctly. The adults are back.

Yes, but does he have a nice laugh?

Mark D, that is exactly what to call ciphers like Martha Brennan: “propagandists.” Those who deserve that label should get branded with it at every opportunity, to give them a continual dose of much-deserved mockery, ridicule, and humiliation. They are no more “journalists” than Joseph Goebbels was.

Vance was a perfect choice for VP. His considerable talents make up for Trump's considerable weaknesses without threatening Trump's considerable strengths. The equilibrium is what the country needs and I hope it holds.

I read that Trump wanted the guy from North Dakota but Trump's sons pushed for J.D. to balance the age issue.

I can’t love the way he talks to the Sunday morning hosts any more than I already do! Hes an excellent speaker!

He was so good during the campaign on those shows

Yes, he made people forget the “cat lady” remark that democrats had fun with.

Yes I watched the majority of the interview and once again I have high praise for the poise, debate skills, logic, and ability to keep his cool while figuratively pummeling her continuous attempts to bait him and denigrate Trump’s actions in the first five days. Her tone and style was quite irritating. JD Vance is the perfect person to go on camera with her.

It's clear that Vance is exceptionally bright - unlike his predecessor (DEI hire Harris) or his Democratic challenger in the election (career assistant coach Walz).

Let's hope that Vance is given an opportunity to put his skills to work during the next four years.

That's an insult to assistant coaches! Especially because nobody who actually knew anything about football would say as Walz did that someone "runs a mean pick six."

And the four years after that as President!!

I prefer him to become president for Eight Years.

Neither Harris nor Walz could survive three minutes in the ring with her. JD Vance not only survived, he appeared to turn the tables on her several times and defeated her combative style with sound arguments that many times exposed the ridiculous nature of her questioning.

True, but of course that wouldn’t have happened because they had the D force field around them. It would have been a bunch of softballs about family and food, then a couple “tough questions” about how terrible Republicans are. To your point, though, Harris or Walz would have come across as lackluster and incompetent even in that kind of uber-friendly environment.

"To your point, though, Harris or Walz would have come across as lackluster and incompetent.."

Could that be, because They Are?

True- good point.

Just refreshing to have competent people in charge.

Absolutely!

Who were the terrorist?

Is the same as the Haitians Vance talked about?

I know it’s only Monday but that’s pretty weak, even for a leftist like you.

It was a delicious bloodbath.

He ate her for lunch. It was a wonderful moment.

Yes, no contest, although I had to stop watching after about 2/3 of the interview was over since her style makes me cringe. She really gets on my nerves with that attack everything mentality.

I watch those shows, infrequently, and I yell at the tv. This weekend I watched a bit of Dana Bash interviewing Miss Lindsay and yelled at them. And I yelled at the leftist morons on her panel. They lie and obfuscate and tap dance and mislead. Then I turned it off.

Yes, Dana Bash is another one I have a hard time watching. not worth the stress sometimes.
