To say that "two wrongs don't make a right" is exactly correct. However, I imagine that Trump sees things this way: since the news media, almost all educators, and the whole democrat party (without exception) will contimue to openly and unrestrainedly commit more wrongs as soon as they are back in power, I need to make hay while the sun shines. This week, in Congress, republicans, as well as democrats, demanded investigation of the "signal" mess. This shows good faith among republicans. It would be much easier to convince Trump to stay within the framework of law and convention if the media, said educators, and democrats in congress would initiate investigations into several issues. First, how fairly was the trial of Trump prosecuted by Mr. Bragg actually adjudicated? Was Alan Dershowitz correct when he said that the judge, who had pronounced democrat leanings, time and again suppressed information that would have helped Trump's case? If this is found to be the case, will the prosecutor and the judge be "corrected", or will Trump think that he has to do this? With regard to deportations, Senator Sanders, among others, is now saying that controlled immigration is necessary, and that everybody know's this. I didn't realize that he knew this until he came out with this statement. Progressive policies have led to the tremendously chaotic mess caused by some eleven to eighteen million undocumented aliens being encouraged to flock to the U. S. The media encouraged this. Although the percentage of actual criminals who came here illegally is small, they're still here, doing damage. Again, if the media and those in congress who encouraged this disaster would acknowledge they maybe, possibly, sort of might have gone a little overboard, and if they would take steps to correct the problem, Trump wouldn't have to think that it's up to only him to do this. Finally, it would be informative to investigate the allegations that former President Biden, while in office, sort of, didn't necessarily sign all the presidential orders and presidential pardons issued over his "signature." This creates an incredible legal mess. Again, media and progressive congress people, exposing and punishing whatever "wrong" occurred would greatly help to convince Trump that he doesn't have to take on the "establishment" single-handedly. Lack of action on these and other fronts does nothing but convince him that none of the people yelling so loudly for "justice" want anything else but to defy Trump at all cost. Putting money where mouth is would go an incredibly long way toward avoiding this "constitutional crisis" everybody's so concerned about. And, while we're at it, those so indignant over the really stupid and inexcusable events of January 6 might suggest to tim Walls that he not encourage people to for a "shadow government" to defy Trump. Tim needs to go back to calling pick six plays as an offensive co-ordinator of our "football team of state."
