Okay...I am one of the ones who donated to Latimer though AIPAC...but if I hadn't used AIPAC I would have donated the same amount directly to Latimer. As to the unconscionable reversal on opposition to juvenile transition surgery, I suspect it's similar to circumcision. Other than Israel (where circumcision is done for religious purposes...and even there, the rate is declining as alternate rituals are spreading), the United States is the ONLY developed country which routinely circumcises boys. The United States is also the ONLY developed country with a medical establishment governed by the profit motive. Coincidence?
