That varies from state to state and has absolutely nothing to do with the nomination process in the primaries. Which is what we’re talking about. Nice straw man though. Moving on. ☮️

Exactly, it varies state to state, and frequently. Also I'm pretty sure rules have changed, in my lifetime, about binding of delegates to candidates. That's quite germane to the argument. Primary processes are not foundational and are not longstanding tradition. And, if the rules allow Biden to withdraw, and delegates to vote for whomever, that's the current process.

If they somehow change their rules before the convention, to force Joe out against his wishes, then we can talk.

I totally agree the Dems and probably media (unless their really stupid) are manipulating the situation, to switch candidates without invoking the 25th and having to deal with Kamala as Acting President. It's this undemocratic? Fundamentally, parties are entitled to nominate whatever candidates they want, more or less however they want.
