Clearly, the “people” (especially the women), didn’t get the freedom or change they were seeking in 1979. Americans would do well to pay attention to the current Biden-Harris administration which kowtows to and funds these Iranian thugs. Could it be because they hope to impose their own repressive regime, borrowing Iranian tactics such as censorship and the targeting political rivals, stoking fear and pitting citizens against each other with false claims of racism, white supremacy and the “death of democracy”? I think Iranians would agree: be careful what you vote for.
