Yeah, yeah. First up in the news, how dare Walz embellish his time at war...and then we see the exact same tactic used here. Do I think students chanting "send all Zionists home" is a problem? Of course. But the girl getting "stabbed in the eye" is such a good headline. The video of these students getting blocked is less aggressive than the door guy on a typical night out. Again, I'm not saying there isn't a problem here, but this "news coverage" is purposely misleading; More clickbait, by the very people that claim to report "real news". A "dozen students" protesting..."40 tents"...so you mean less popular than trivia night at you local pub? Got it. Who here remembers college? Sophmores are fucking idiots. But the sky is falling, we're all doomed, AOC promotes killing Jews, AHHHHH!!! Subscribe here!!!!

I think a bit of perspective is needed here.

Agreed. I think it’s pretty clear she isn’t being truthful

And in the very article you include the video that debunks the woman's claim. *Facepalm* Did anyone read past the headline?

I think this girl completely mischaracterized what happened to her. She was possibly poked in the eye; the guy with the flag was not “in her face” or even looking at her. It seems like she is a bit of a clout chaser.

But "stabbed in the eye" makes such a better headline. "SUBSCRIBE HERE, IF YOU WANT REAL UNBIASED NEWS!!!" Hahaha!

Masks make it more difficult to identify people, but not impossible.

Keep photos and videos, with sound recordings against the day when they can be used as evidence, with advances in technology, of violent crimes.

And if you read the left wing rags it doesn’t count as a stabbing because they didn’t inflict enough damage. Of course no damage is ever enough for them so…

This is silly. This incident is completely blown out of proportion. Should this woman have been poked in the eye? Absolutely not. Is it concerning that these students are cornering Jews and making them feel unsafe? Of course. But this is classic click-bait bs brought to us by the very news source that promotes real, unbiased news. We should demand better.

Thank you for being so brave and being on the right side of history. These protests are like the German Bund rallies of the 1930s.

Expel them. Erase their academic records. Make it as if they had never attended Columbia.

Stay safe, Sahar! I hope the Yale administrators see sense!

I hope you sue Yale for millions of Dollars. All of those students are burning up millions of dollars in tuition from their parents. A waste of education , a wasted argument from uneducated students.

The right to protest consists of speech and assembly. When it starts to take the form of harassing students who are not part of the demonstration, especially on purely racial grounds, that's when I would bring out the high-pressure firehoses.

Terrifying! Where are the lawsuits? Why are real police not allowed to protect students? Hunger strike when school is almost out?! Sure. There should be photos posted of these people who are themselves effectively terrorizing others. Where are the criminal charges? I think there is a type of facial recognition that can be successful even with partially covered faces. This is a very very dark day in the US.

If only we would put violent disorderly protestors in jail. So simple.

For the past week I have been getting progressively more upset, ill, angry, depressed and hopeless. I feel completely disoriented in this country and totally helpless. My husband doesn’t want to hear about it. I don’t know where to turn or how to keep doing ordinary things in the face of this travesty. My hat is off to both of the courageous young people writing essays in the FP today.

When you see the racial and ethnic makeup of the "protestors" you can see the effect of 12 plus years of indoctrination by the schools, both government run and private. Not just sad but scary.
