Concerning puberty, 70s and 80s sex-ed stated the obvious: “you will experience confusion as your hormones kick in…”

The lack of willingness to live in the obvious, that which is right in front of you, is our era’s biggest problem.

Great job, Jennifer Block and The Free Press. I wish these two young women every success, and I so appreciate their speaking out. I forwarded the 23-minute video to my own daughter, who is also on the spectrum and also deeply wrapped up in this mania . . . Btw, I thought the damages being sought in the lawsuits seemed low-ball, considering all the pain discomfort and loss of function caused to these women's bodies . . .

Greed in the guise of "care" is still greed...follow the money...follow the money...follow the money...$2,000,000,000 flowing into PP coffers is too tempting to pass up...and...they didn't...g.

Very sad. I hate to see any of these people tokenized or further victimized or exploited. The standard of care will change through litigation and public pressure.

THIS: “mthe whole project of gender identity was “kind of like a punk thing,” she says. But rather than sex, drugs, and rock and roll, it was just drugs. And surgery. “It’s a medicalized version of normal teen rebellion.””

I hope that we can sort through this as a society and use language and protocols that address the seriousness of a medical transition and hopefully separate it from seeming like a “cool, rebellious” thing to do that subverses society and makes it attractive to young people who aren’t truly trans. I want people who truly have depression and anxiety to get the treatment they need and I want truly Trans people to get the treatment they need, but it needs to be fleshed out and taken seriously - I hope our culture and society can sort this out quickly and not at the expense of many more young people like those in this article.

Our lives today are short, hard, and brutal. But not yet and soon it will be that. Folks need to look up and out far further and far further into the future, far beyond their own personal existence and experience. What does normal look like? What does peace look like? What actually does shalom look like in a world where government was the least of our concerns? Shabbat Shalom for all of us, both Jew and Gentile, free and slave, all colors, all nations, all tongues.

Americans should treat Margaret Sanger’s legacy as what it truly was and is now. A death chamber for babies and future babies with their gender transition programs.

What do normal folks do? A man and woman fall in love and get married and desire to have children and live wonderful lives and project their family far into future generations of human beings. Marriage, family, children, and future, are the exact thing that society must do to survive and project way into the future hundreds of years. Where do you find that? Traditional faith and cultural values. This is a hope for our nation now. It is not the ultimate hope, the Blessed Hope.

"Gender affirming care" should always be in quotes. Unless, of course you sincerely believe that whatever gender someone thinks they are, is what they truly are. But that is pure idiocy. People suffer from crazy delusions all the time.

I am a supporter of Planned Parenthoods original mission to promote access to contraceptives, promote female reproductive health. But . . . is anyone else out there concerned that it refers to its offices as a "franchise" or an "affiliate"? This is NOT a fast food chain, it is medicine!!! A punch list is not medicine! We are people not hamburgers.

I must also clarify that while I support womens reproductive health & choice, I am not a supporter of “gender affirming care” , particularly for minors.

Why? Planned Parenthood is just another sort of Wendy’s or Starbucks franchise with extreme desire to kill babies and then also complete the mutilation of the genitalia of children beginning at age 6. Of course that would make all of them eunuchs, medically unable to bear children. Both little girls and little boys are targeted for being eunichs. No more children. No more grandchildren. No more people at all. What precisely Diana would you call this strategic plan? What precisely do you think would happen a few moments or months later or a hundred year later?

PP no longer calls us women or female and uses the word “front hole” instead of vagina. Does that not give you pause in supporting them in any way???? There are other ways for WOMEN to get quality medical care.

This because so many of these sorts of folks are promoting Jim Morrison’s anthem during his time with “the Doors” in the 1960’s.

I need to clarify and admit to an incorrect statement from the article, PP does not call its clinics "franchises" or "affiliates". My error, and I take ownership for it. I apologize to FP readers. However, I do feel the article made it pretty clear that substandard medical practices have been exposed and are being litigated. Women (and men) deserve better.

Take a look at Tim Walz and his legislation. DANGEROUS MAN

“Dubbed the Trans Refuge Bill by supporters, the law grants legal protection to children who travel to Minnesota for so-called gender affirming care, including puberty blockers, reconstructive genital surgery, and hormone therapy, as well as the medical practitioners who provide it. The law prohibits Minnesota courts or officials from complying with child removal requests, extraditions, arrests, or subpoenas related to a child’s sex-change procedures received in Minnesota, even if they’re a crime in another state.”

“The law makes seeking gender-transition procedures for minors a factor in some assessments for whether a Minnesota court has jurisdiction to make an initial determination in child-custody cases. It also gives courts temporary emergency jurisdiction if a child comes to Minnesota from a state that refused them the procedures.”

We are talking about children with this law, not adults. This is who people want leading our country???

The good news here is that people are suing. This stuff has to stop and a few big judgements will be a huge help.

What a incredibly sad article. Young girls have always waged battled with their own bodies - eating disorders, self harm. But now they are being encouraged to dismantle their bodies by doctors. Taking the horrible self-loathing of young women and profiting from it is plain evil.

I was thinking the same thing. Women used to starve themselves, now they can mutilate themselves while being cheered on by medical professionals. It's sickening.

At some point, some legislatures need to increase the statute of limitations to age 40 for all sex and gender related psychological and physical care rendered before age 25. That should be a sufficient deterrent to many mental health workers and medical people to do stuff like this.

Tremendous, and damming article. So terribly sad.

Any such treatment to vulnerable young people is manifestly evil. It should be immediately criminalised. We have Cass Report and WPATH Files. Prosecutions and extreme penalties must apply. The victims warrant expansive compensation.

Great for TFP to highlight this.
