As a centrist, I read and listen to the debates on both sides and must say, this is THE BEST AND MOST BALANCED presentation of the issues surrounding the gun debate. As a fan girl of Bari Weiss, I reiterate my respect and admiration for her ability to distill down to the fulcrum of the issues and present them critically and clearly.

Nope. In fact, a Democrat candidate for Philly mayor (there is no Republican party in Philadelphia), has suggested stop and frisk. Cops do it all the time, and always have. It gets illegal guns off of the street and saves lives

It s confusing to me. Democrats are ok with the gov confiscating guns from law abiding citizens, but against "stop and frisk" because it is unconstitutional

I'm for pro gun. But stop and frisk is unconstitutional. The 4th amendment says you need probable cause and a warrant (absent extenuating circumstances of course like seeing someone crawl out of a broken window with a TV).

Timothy McVey, Mohammed Atta (and associates), the two Tsaraenev brothers all committed mayhem and death without discharging a single firearm. If a highly motivated individual is bent upon destruction, they will find a means to carry it out.

Two police officers in Cali. killed by gang banger with a gun after being given a lenient sentence by DA Gascon for, a gun charge. So spare us the theatrics from you lefties, Bari, about gun violence. You can take your outrage and stuff it.

There's only one thing to do: Get (and keep) guns out of the hands of gang-bangers. Zero tolerance. No regard for skin color, ethnicity, age, or or or. Refund the police.

Which has been done before. And it works. And then the entire leftist rage machine (media, Hollywood, Democrats, etc) complains that more blacks are in prison, since blacks commit violent crime at by far the highest rate per capita, and…here we are.
