I agree. Many of my neighbors and coworkers are evangelical Christians and we share the same love of America, the same belief in traditional values, the same ethical code. But as Disraeli said, “The Jews are a nervous people. Nineteen centuries of Christian love have taken a toll.” I am named after my father’s brother who was killed in Jedwabne Poland. Jews and Catholics lived in the same impoverished town in Poland. Then the Nazis came and the Jews were slaughtered not by the Nazis, but by their neighbors. This has been the pattern for the past 2000 years. Oct 8 was a wake up call for all Jews. The pattern is on the verge of repeating.
