That was enough for me to lose any interest in it. I may not be the smartest investor in the world, but this looked like an obvious scam.

Yet the court granted Sammy bail and placed him in their custody pending trial...until (shocker!) it turned out he was continuing to commit crimes (trying to interfere with witnesses, etc.) while at Mom and Dad's. Not until then did the court revoke bail. If there's any justice, they'll all have adjoining cells.
