Leaving aside, for now, the merits of that practice in general, I DO have a suggestion in regards to phrasing.
The CEO DID in fact get shot. Someone DID in fact shoot him. There’s nothing alleged about the fact of the shooting. So, maybe rephrase (here and in the future) to clarify that someone DID pull the trigger and kill him and the only “alleged” part (for now) is that that someone was Luigi.
