Great piece which simply highlights what many of us have been thinking and saying for years: The Democratic Party was populated by freedom-loving and patriotic Americans who simply differed with Republicans on the means, but not the ends. Today the Dems are a tightly controlled and sealed bubble of sheep who perpetuate groupthink. When this party realizes that what's best for a pluralistic America is also best for the party we will see better policies coming from both parties. We will also see an end to the idiocy that has made it dangerous for people to use public transportation; difficult to make ends meet; difficult to plan for the future, and geopolitical dangers the likes of which we have not seen since WWII.
