The correction on here "CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that James Carlson’s townhome is worth $3.4 million. Carlson purchased his townhome for $2.3 million. His parents’ home, also in Brooklyn, is worth $3.4 million. The Free Press regrets the error." is absolute perfection.
"regrets the error". I can only imagine the losers that called into complain about that. "How can you get something as simple as a home valuation wrong. It's right on Zillow! And you call yourself a professional news organization? What an embarrassment...." Am I right? Been on the receiving end of those faux-outrage emails many times, including from dope ass editors.
I appreciate the effort the FP made to get a different voice/perspective. My mother worked as support staff at Columbia. Her building was taken over in 1968. It made a deep impression on her. She was talking about it decades later, shortly before her death.
There should be nothing surprising about the actual elite class nature of this bigoted uprising. Tides, Soros, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, etc., plus the Hamas-friendly Muslim organizations (CAIR, American Muslims for Palestine and its SJP), donor nations like Qatar, and rich Jew-hating kids from the Muslim world here as our guests, all motivated by a global ideology and contempt for the West and for America and, above all, for that other proud nation state, Israel. All the b.s. talk about "settler colonialism" masks the fact that this is a revolt of the elites covered over with a totally fake wretched-of-the-earth DEI-infused intersectional song and dance.
I know lots of people who do what some think of as menial jobs. But they take pride in what they do and are almost always good people. When I pass by, I always say 'thank you' because they make the place better and safer.
Mario Torres. Thank you. You didn't deserve to have to face this mob, but you did. A lot of people are proud of you.

On his podcast, Alan Dershowitz said he would represent pro bono. Please connect them.

Sue the creep. Take everything the trust-fund baby has. Maybe he can start over and actually do something useful in life.
They correction is hilarious.

I hope you sue them for everything they have. Thank you for being a real American!
I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Mr. Torres. I hope Columbia makes this right. Absolutely shameful that they put you in harms way like that.
Thank you, Mr. Torres for your bravery.
A very wise, brave man. Thank you, Francesca, for your kind, thoughtful interview.
"Trust fund kid?" He is 40 years old!!!
I noticed that too. Figured Francesca was being intentionally sarcastic.
Mario Torres. Say his name!!
