A screenwriter on the upcoming strike. The most important natural resource in the world. Plus: a Putin critic shows us how to live in truth—even from inside a Russian cage.
To the Hollywood writer - Welcome to the world many of us NON hollywood types have lived . Many industries are BRUTAL use up workers like firewood . , but that creates competition and innovation.
My old industry was was just as brutal maybe more then hollywood ( hint think trading places the movie) . Going Union when the world is now your competition is not the answer
Maybe you can talk to all of tic tock influencers into forming a union
Sup, Bari. Thanks for the shoutout and great reads. Rob Long and his “Equinox of actors,” is the funniest thing I’ve read this week outside of Nellie’s punchy summaries. Can’t wait for more!
So won’t you, please be my, be my baby, be my little algorithm baby. But please, drop the italics used for the article intros. It’s difficult to read when using iPhone email. Thanks for the great content.
Nobody has to try to kill trust, we're just not a trustworthy society anymore. We've always had corruption, spin, deceit, narcissism, greed, recklessness, and arrogance, just like everyone else, but those things are our identity now... Everything is about the narrative a person can weave, or the act they put on, and what all that can get them. And most everyone else just accepts it, probably because at least half of them are doing it too.
No kidding…I posted my comment for the editors or marketing people or whoever writes this stuff to express a distaste in communications style - not to start a debate with a stranger who doesn’t know anything about me or my experiences and clearly doesn’t think I’m very smart. My comment is a opinion on language.
I tend to use Allsides once in a while to gauge my perception. I recently found some other bias and reliability ratings graphics and then researched their origins. One graphic immediately looked implausible to me but was visually well done. I suddenly felt as though I had been misled, even by Allsides and my own eyes.. All republican leaning publications were down on the y axis to denote low reliability or truthfulness. The producer of this ratings publication was Rand Corporation. I started digging and discovered that it was founded by a self-described socialist organization. Phew! My trust in my own eyes, brain, and family history (mom is a political exile) was restored.
Also like a Yaron Brook a fan of yours,I would like a daily look at " the good the bad and the ugly"!
Another reason to despise Russia. This is what a dictatorship really looks like. There is no free speech there. Putin is another Hitler.
HELP!!! Looks like great posts. Please fix!!
The Read More buttons don’t work on a mobile app - a trend with FP postings. I presume there is a better copy / paste function FP should use.

A major factor in the decline of trust is "diversity". People without shared culture and values naturally trust each other less.
No fair, I want to come up with witty requests that stick with everyone. I hope that comes across as a whiney child. Thats what i’m shooting for.
