If a pregant woman is struck and is injured, her assailant is only responsible for harm done to HER and not to the unborn. The life you refer to is dependent on the mother's body for life, for sustainment and for growth. We Jews by the way have a long tradition of questioning. "Two Jews, three opinions". As you know, since you are obviously an intelligent person, there are people of strong faith and moral convictions on both sides of this issue. You do not have the higher moral ground on this issue. My majority concerns are with the mother, the woman who is here, who is fully functioning. Let's leave it at that.
