On Gender medication, cannot call it care, have a few simple thoughts on the subject.

at 21, one may buy alcohol, cannabis, and other adult drugs.

at 18, one may vote, buy a gun, get a credit card, and start getting into debt via college loans

at 16 one can get a permit and depending on the state, maybe a driver’s license.

Why are we allowing children to decide their fate? Apparently, from studies done in Europe, 5 out of every 6 children with gender dysphoria, end up either bisexual, gay, or lesbian.

Given the above should we at least start with talk therapy before providing drugs/medication, and wait further before surgery?

That’s my view. Once 18, they are considered adults and should be allowed to be as wise or as foolish as any other adults.

My view, too. We impose age restrictions on minors because they don't have the brain development or life experience yet to prevent catastrophic decision-making. Surgery that cannot be reversed should carry age restrictions. Once they're 18, they can have all the gender surgery they want. Until then, society needs to protect them from it.
