BTW, there are valid points to make. It is far from certain that an effort to compensate the Palestinians for their stolen property would be successful. Maybe the hatred now runs so deep that buying them out would make no difference, or indeed that they'd take the money and use it to buy more rockets. Perhaps the ultra orthodox rabbis who advocate simply exterminating them are right -- but it wouldn't look good.
