Of course I have empathy for the people of Israel enduring this horror. Pointing out that horrific attacks have occurred as far back as recorded history goes is IN NO WAY "justification". I think that divisions based upon religious beliefs have been a primary cause of such events throughout history, and I am profoundly sorry that human beings are not more rational.
