Unfortunately, it really doesn’t matter who wins now, does it? Obama had both house and Senate majorities and could only get a donor written ACA. I understand your point about policy. But the one step beyond policy that Trump seems willing to take, which Harris does not, is the willingness to reject the election system itself. The Dems may have groused about the Supreme Court electing GWB, but in the end no one challenged the stability of the system by rejecting the legality of the results. This continues to be the case. Trump and his supporters seem perfectly willing to take that step, as they tried to do January 6, 2021.
