When I read his post the first thing that struck me was he might be a vet who fought in those places, or is related to someone who did. You're right. That may have been a little harsh, but the war spanned the administrations of five presidents, beginning with Truman, ending with Nixon. Blaming any one man for VietNam? That's also a bit harsh.
