For example, how many times have we heard Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and Whitehouse spokesperson Karine Jean Pierre adamantly state that the Southern border is closed and totally under control? How many times has Biden proclaimed that his son has done nothing wrong and that he never has discussed his son’s business? How many times has Biden and others in his administration claimed to be the protectors of democracy as they carry-on a campaign to censor and prosecute both political opponents and those whose speech they disagree with including such topics as the Biden laptop, the COVID vaccines, lockdowns, the lab-leak theory, and on and on? And yet a significant percent of the population believes them, thanks in part to a corrupt media that pushes misinformation.
Biden’s greatest weakness in my eyes - and the list is long - has always been an utter lack of geopolitical strategy or even understanding. This is just the latest in a long string of bad decisions with catastrophic consequences.
IMO America needs to send a clear message to the Middle East: you mess with Israel, then you mess with us. We should be sending in the best of our military along with Israels to free the hostages and hold the terrorists who slaughtered innocent Jewish families accountable. This is not a time to exercise caution or “try to stay out of it” this is a human rights atrocity of one our of our longest standing allies. Being aggressive and standing with Israel is the only way to make it clear to Hamas and other antisemitic groups that these atrocities have consequences.

I was surprised to learn elsewhere that, despite the high percentage of military veterans in Israel, their government's gun control scheme is very strong. This has a very direct impact on Hamas' success last weekend. I have to imagine they'd have thought twice about this style of attack if every Israeli home contained military-like firearms. I hope Israeli citizens immediately demand from their govt the same protection of the natural right to self-defense that we enjoy here in the U.S.A. It's unquestionably a deterrent to foreign actors who wish to harm you.
