If you don't give me what I want I'm going to hold my breath until you do.

The dramatic respect the public has for Advanced Education can only go up.

Good deal. They strike. Fail out. And then Joe and Kamala require the rest of us to pay off the loans they took and wasted. They have nothing to worry about!

It will be interesting to see whether the pro-Palestinians will be more numerous or shrink in number this coming year, and in years to come. Commenters here seem to think they're finished. I somehow doubt it.

Sometimes I would skip class to protest my hangover.

The only thing these encampment losers are accomplishing is making complete fools of themselves.

At this point, I think it's just clear they know they cannot pass their classes, right?

I’m not sure they do. They probably think their activist professors will give them credit for protesting

I am sure that supportive teachers will give A’s for activism.

But I am still not clear what leverage the students have. They get more free time (and probably still get good grades) and the school cashes their checks. Its win/win!

This is satire, right? Right?

Classes will be a lot more productive without these illiterate Palestine chuds gibbering their nonsense and disrupting the real students who are there to learn.

The notion that 19 year olds have any superior wisdom to anyone is actually somewhat humorous. Back in the 60's, they had the morally relevant claim that subjection to the draft entitled them to a voice.

Not so in 2024, concerning Israel and Iran (no one is protesting for actual Palestinian rights.) Strike if you will, and accept the consequences of suspension, expulsion, or simple academic failure.

But, please, give up the notion that any superior morality is at work here.

I taught 18 year olds for 30 years. If any creature on earth overestimates its abilities and competence more than the American 18 year old I don’t know of it. I’d listen to a 13 year old before an 18 year old.

I believe it's an excellent idea for them to skip class. Then they can be failed. Then in a few years when they are unemployed at all but the lowest paying jobs, they can work for the fast food capitalists and serve the capitalist customers. Then, they'll likely strike for higher wages, get fired, get on the government teet, then sit at home watching cartoons and getting high. That's the future for the socialists.

I’ve heard a new term: Neotoddlerism. That fits here quite well.

So the haters will skip school, get arrested or expelled, in their protest against school rules and this is a bad because?

Let them pay their tuition (it will be “forgiven” by dems), then not show up. F them.

I sure wish I had known in college that I could claim the moral high ground by skipping class! That would have been really helpful.

I just wish they'd start enforcing the existing rules and stop implicitly condoning these students. It's sickening.. state sponsored antisemitism.

One would think any sane parent would remove their child from whatever university they are at and let them enter the job market.

Hopefully they would then realize how privileged they were at having the opportunity to attend a university.
