Biden is giving the eulogy for Carter at the National Cathedral. I’m certain we’ll see Obuma & Billary. What a gaggle. Carter was an embarrassment. At the time of his presidency my wife who was born & raised in the South said he was a good old boy cracker! It was no compliment. The U.S. is 26th in math & 10th in science. In order to compete with China we need all the help we can get. The answer isn’t DEI nor WOKE nonsense. Unless we revamp our education systems the alternative is learning Mandarin.

Our scores have always been poor compared to the rest of the world and we could never beat the Russians or the Japanese or the Germans. Definitely no chance against Chinaandindia, not to mention the excellence the Finnish school system.

But somehow we lead the world in most everything that everything that science produces and the world's best and brightest want to be here to produce it.

Much of Chinese technology was “lifted” from America. The individual who developed the Taiwanese microchip industry was an MIT graduate. He wanted to develop the industry in America but was shunned. Much of what you say is true. From 1905-1930 twenty-eight Jews in Germany were awarded the Nobel prize in science, physics, mathematics & quantum mechanics. The American medical system, particularly medical training was developed in Germany. The first antibiotic, sulfonamides were developed by the German, Domagk & the first primitive antibiotic to treat syphilis was developed by the German physician, Ehrlich.
