I understand that it is human nature to allow emotion and personal like/dislike to color what one would like/not like to believe, but it often results in great harm. There is plenty to criticize about Trump’s phraseology and boorishness , but personality shouldn’t be more the issue than the actual message. Nor should gossip or sound bites be a substitute for actual fact finding research. I grew up in a Jewish Democrat household. Every Republican politician or devout Christian Southerner was an “ antisemite”. Unless they were Democrats . And it was the Democrats who were what the Republicans were accused of. Particularly Jimmy Carter, Brzezinski, George WallaceRobert Byrd, Helen Thomas Madeleine Albright, Soros,Biden, Kerry, Clyburn, Thurmond, FDR, Hank Johnson, Jeffries, Waters, Andrew Young, Stokely Carmichael, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson…culminating in what is now the Red/Green Alliance of Global CommunoIslamoFascist Death Cult.

What irks me most about Bari, who I’ve no doubt has a good heart, is her condemnation of people who are truly decent Because she judges. She went into the most specious, vile spiel about Pastor Hagee, labeling him a virulent racist and antisemite. For such a staunch advocate of Israel, she doesn’t do her homework. Without Pastor Hagee’s incredible support , devotion, advocacy and massive financial aid, Israel might not have survived Obama. And Hagee’s support transcends his religious ideology. He learned of Martin Luther’s turn against the Jews and was overcome by guilt and sadness- and devoted himself to making amends. As per racism- I don’t know where the hell she grabbed that from. These slurs and aspersions are very damaging. The Dems have used this cudgel falsely to shut people up for a very long time. It’s surprising there isn’t more antisemitism on the right.
