The ADL and Wikipedia….I was alerted to the woke bias at the ADL when Whoppie Goldberg used their definition of racism, on the ADL webpage at the time,
On Feb 1st 2022 the ADL definition was:
Racism: The marginalization and/or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.
On Feb 3, after Ms Goldberg’s Gaff, the definition was quickly changed to:
Racism (interim definition): Racism occurs when individuals or institutions show more favorable evaluation or treatment of an individual or group based on race or ethnicity.
Further looking around on their existing website one can find numerous woke-induced discussions and definitions.
I write the morning after the debate. I had no doubt that Trump would show up; I have no idea why you thought otherwise. Biden did not show up, because he is no longer there. But I still hope that the Biden shell is the Demo candidate; he and the Demos deserve the judgement of the American voters.

I will watch but I think its a trap for Trump from the anti-Trump network and moderator. There should be an audience and there should be open mics. These will be speeches from the candidates not a back and forth debate. I want to see Biden stutter and Trump yell.
Odds are 100% that Biden has all the info he needs to stutter his way to a debate victory. I wonder what drugs he's been given to keep him alive for 90 minutes.

I had the bias of Wikipedia brought home to me dramatically when, some years back, I happened to look up the entry for Senator Barbara Boxer. I had been reading about her for decades, about how obnoxious and disliked she was to members of both parties. (The last time she ran for reelection, the liberal San Francisco Chronicle refused to endorse her. They agreed with her politically, they said, but, unable to work with others, she got nothing done.)
However, the Wikipedia article made no reference to any of this. Puzzled, I took a look at the discussion page, where I found that an individual who might be described as a “page-sitting troll“ made it his business, for love or money, to delete any negative material. N.B.: I haven’t looked at the entry recently, so I don’t know if this is still going on.
I had a chuckle at "looking at the flight map counts as fun." After scrolling through (admittedly limited) movie and TV series choices on a recent flight from Paris to NYC, I decided to just listen to my classical playlist and read a book. The flight map is far more entertaining, educational, and enriching than most popular entertainment of late.

The debate is over. Joe was his weak, dementia self, Trump didn’t answer a lot of questions that would have helped with independent voters.
