The Palestine cult attracts the worst people in the world. It's as simple as that.

Therapy is a modern concept that in essence should only be used short term for the most traumatized individuals. Psychiatry is necessary for the mentally ill. Therapy plays into the victimhood and the oppressor/oppressed victim model and at its core has Marxist leanings. Therapy does not encourage self confidence, self fixes and has profound bias from the practitioner. I know many crazy therapists and many crazy people who have been in therapy for many years. Most people need to follow common sense, make self-protective decisions, use Ten Commandments type morality and read and learn from many sources; not pay to listen to someone who at best has some "expert" degree in non-scientific psycho-babble and wants to keep the patient for monetary reasons.

Wonderful. Thank you.

The toxic poison of DIE spreads, its phony baloney Marxist agenda becomes clearer every day…

Great article. I hope more medical and other health providers will speak out about the politicalization of their communities and practice standards.

This is not the first time psychotherapists have taken a stand about a political issue. I remember taking one of my daughters to a therapist a decade ago and reading a pamphlet in the waiting room then. The pamphlet may have been about illegal immigration, or perhaps it was about generder theory. I don't recall. But I do remember wondering how I could find a therapist who separated her politics from her profession.

so now we see how Jew Hate has through Muslim activists, Palestine activists, Leftist activists has been thoroughly 'normalized" and institutionalized...so as in another story today, "Greek life " on college campuses is under attack .....pro hamas tentifadas....expression of murdering Zionists.....aka Jews.....no problem here

Anti-semitism takes many forms, this is yet another expression of that timeless theme. Nothing new here.

This is an extension of a problem that has been around for awhile - that an overwhelmingly female and leftist profession is staunchly and will not give men a fair shake. (I have not encountered this problembut have encountered men who have).

Marriage counseling often meant forcing the man to admit all the differences and problems were his, and his alone, thus giving the woman additional grounds to fleece the husband in a divorce. When a man cheats, it is his fault because he can't control his urges. When a woman cheats, it is the man's fault again because he does not pay enough attention to her.

Problems like this only accelerate the collapse of marriage as an institution.

A profession many consider a joke, my apologies to many who can actually help others, gives another reason to not utilize them. May those whom support such DEI psychobabble, go broke and bankrupt due to incompetence. Or better yet, sued to the point they can't get insured. Professional stupidity should cost and cost dearly.

Therapists also have blacklists regarding patients. The field is not really one of people with a particularly high degree of moral fortitude or great competence. We really need to lower our view of the field of psychotherapy in general. They are generally underpaid and exploited by the groups they work for. They mostly receive 1099's. They simply are not the top of the professional or moral heap in America. And yet, because we tell them our secrets, we like to imagine that they are somehow the high priests and priestesses of goodness. They are not particularly well versed in ethics or morals or even science. Generally I think you would get a more honest group from the local plumbers union. They actually know how to fix leaky pipes.

This columnist really seems to be angry that some therapists see value in the concepts behind DEI.

I do not share the author's panic over this new "crisis". I don't believe that politics is taking over psychotherapy. Were talking about a facebook page with 26 names on it. This seems to be an example of Stephen Pinker's formula for creating a moral panic: "Here is an anecdote, therefore it's a trend, therefore it's a crisis."

It seems to be a formula that The Free Press fully embraces, especially when it comes to identitfying anti-Semitism.

"In every generation they rise up against us to destroy us."

These therapists need to examine their own motives more carefully. They may tell themselves they have laudable reasons for their stance, but underneath?—underneath is pure anti-semitism, same as ever. For some reason I am always surprised when I see it, but I should know better by now. In a decent world they would be sanctioned by their licensing bodies for what is totally unethical behaviour: physicians certainly would be.

in 1955 I was doing my final year medical exams. I was scheduled to do my surgical oral on Yom Kippur with Prof F. VanZyl who was known to be one of the heads of the major racist,Afrikaner, anti black , antisemitic and defender of Apartheid groups in the country at the time.

I requested a change of date, which was granted, but my examiner remained Prof Van Zyl.

When my exam date arrived, I was obviously terribly anxious

He started our interview saying I believe we are meeting at different date on account of your religious holiday. I respect that, he said, which gave me a very comforting feeling, proceeded with a very fair exam, which I passed. I, in turn respeted his attitude even though our political views were extremely different And that's how medicine should be practiced.

I learnt a good lesson. As result over the years ,my patients were from white, brown,,black, and across all religious and political groups, and were all treated with the same respect as I was by Prof Van Zyl.

Practitioners who do otherwise , should have their licence to practice cancelled.

Contrast that Afrikaaner's views about Jews with the present "anti-racist", Afro-Nazi regime in power in South Africa now.

Apartheid was admittedly wrong, but for South Africa's Jews, the new regime is even worse for them- than the old one was.

Which is why the Jewish population of South Africa is fading away.

Jewish people should vote right wing and resist any DEI policy because DEI is obviously just anti-Semitism couched in soft language.

That is a big part of it, yes.
