The Jan 6th demonstrators -- "Democrat"-adjacent media standards of truth allow us to call them "mainly peaceful" -- didn't force their way into the buliding but were let in, needlessly but deliberately, by people who knew what scenario THEY were creating, with the help of agitators outside who together with those inside did more to encourage the "insurrection" (a political media meme designed not to inform but to inflame) than anyone. The invasion delayed, at most temporarily disrupted, the political process. It didn't "overthrow" the system, nor was there any such intention or attempt. The left-wing-encouraged (even the Minneapolis police called their actions "not just right but righteous") insurgents who burned police precincts and federal buildings during the Kristallsommer of 2020 during their attempt to cause maximum destruction to the economy and civic functions were, like their hypocritical, politically-motivated eggers-on, motivated by something much closer to insurrection than anything Trump can be "held to account for", i.e. accused of by a kangaroo court of misinformed and baseless public opinion. The Long March has captured too much of our court system. Let's pray justice can hold out.
