Biden himself, in his remarks in Chicago, even acknowledged that Hamas is “backing away” from its earlier acceptance of a ceasefire deal, something this terrorist group does every time an agreement seems near." (Biden just pulled a Trump "very fine people on both sides". Yes, people are suffering and dying on both sides, a travesty, but Hamas is the group that pulled the rip cord on October 7. Israel left Gaza 17 years ago, and Gaza elected Hamas, keeps it in power with Iranian backing & money, spent all the money meant for its people and infrastructure to build tunnels under its civilians, hoard weapons, medical supplies, and food for its fighters not for its people. THAT is Hamas - and they bear the responsibility for putting their citizens in harms way. Once Israel left, Gaza wanted no help from Israel to build, only to destroy. Think about it. If the US had "withdrawn" from Canada for ridiculous example, the US would have no obligation to trade with Canada or help Canada in any way. This all boils down to Hamas, and a blind hatred that drives everything they do at any cost.They cannot justify their existence without this. Do you really believe that there can be peace without a change in their government? I would like to believe so, but alas, I do not. The Gazan people are not all Hamas, but they need to make their voices heard if they want something different. And, what do the moderate Arab nations in the Middle East think is going to happen in Hamas wins? They are next on Iran's hit list. What do most Americans not get? Israel is "the Little Satan" and America is 'the Big Satan". Israel is just the canary in the coal mine. Don't you realize that we are also next on the hit list?
It's insane to me that the mainstream media refuses to point any of this out. Hamas has literally said "we're going to do more attacks like October 7th" and any non-right-leaning media just buries it.
